I am a secondary teacher based in Far North Queensland, and my passion lies in the English classroom. As a voracious reader, it is my goal to imbue my students with a love of stories and literature, while also showing them how to effectively engage with the texts of the world. I have recently begun my Masters of Education, majoring in teacher-librarianship, and I hope to transfer my experience and my new knowledge to this career shortly down the path.
When I take off my ‘teacher hat’, I enjoy travelling, spending time with my family, and, of course, drinking coffee while snuggling up with a great book.
